While we are confident that the increase in vaccination rate and preventative measures are making it safer for groups to gather, the ongoing uncertainty makes it such that we would not be able to host PodcastCon this year at the level that we strive to.
We are hard at work reimagining the event for the future so that we can gather again. We’ll keep you updated as these details come together!
Tickets purchased for PodcastCon 2020 and 2021 will be automatically refunded. All tickets will be sent for refund processing by the previously scheduled event date, August 20, 2021.
Previously reserved hotel accommodations at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, the official partner hotel of PodcastCon, have been automatically cancelled as well.

What are the dates for PodcastCon?
New dates and a venue for PodcastCon have not been announced yet. We are hard at work reimagining the event for the future, looking at new dates and locations so that we can gather again. We’ll keep you updated as these details come together!
Can I get a refund?
All tickets to PodcastCon 2021, including tickets originally purchased for PodcastCon 2020, will be refunded by the originally scheduled dates of the event, August 20, 2021. As Mischief Management is a small event company that has been significantly impacted by COVID-19, we truly appreciate your cooperation as we minimize the financial impact so that we can continue to celebrate together for many years to come.
How much of my ticket will be refunded?
Refunds will include the cost of the ticket, ticket platform fees, and any mailing fees. If you selected to insure your tickets, this was paid directly to the ticket insurance company and will not be refunded.
I had reserved hotel accommodations. Do I need to cancel?
Previously reserved hotel accommodations at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, the official partner hotel of PodcastCon, have been automatically cancelled. You will receive (or may have already received) an email confirming your reservation cancellation. Please note that it may take up to 7 business days for your reservation to be cancelled. Due to limited staffing at the hotel, you are asked not to reach out directly until these 7 days have passed.
Will there be new health/safety guidelines at future events?
Yes, the health and safety of everyone attending our events is our top priority. Additional details about our health and safety measures for events will be made available in the future.
What do I need to do if I was registered to vend or exhibit at PodcastCon?
